In this ninth installment of our Hidden Medicine series, we explore a critical chapter entitled “Strategic Intel Part I – The Battle Plan for Naturally-Born Slaves.” Here, we dive into how malevolent spiritual forces manipulate human beings into living as "slaves"—trapped in patterns of sickness, despair, and deception. This post unpacks what it means to be a "naturally-born slave" and how awareness can lead to liberation.

What Does It Mean to Be a “Naturally-Born Slave”?

I use the term naturally-born slaves to describe individuals who unknowingly live under the influence of the enemy’s battle plan. This state of spiritual enslavement isn’t about physical bondage but about a deeper form of captivity—one that affects the mind, body, and soul. Many people, often without realizing it, are living under a system designed to keep them spiritually blind, sick, and defeated.

This concept is based on the idea that humanity, since its fall from grace, has been subjected to the rule of the "god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4). Through deception and manipulation, people are led to believe they are free while actually being trapped in cycles of addiction, disease, depression, and hopelessness.

The Enemy’s Battle Plan for Spiritual Slavery

There are several tactics that spiritual enemies use to keep people in bondage:

Mental and Emotional Chains

The enemy works through fear, shame, and guilt to keep people from realizing their true spiritual identity.

Anxiety, depression, and low self-worth are often exacerbated by spiritual forces seeking to keep individuals from seeking healing.

Physical Illness as a Tool of Oppression

Chronic illness, persistent health issues, and unexplained medical conditions can sometimes have spiritual roots.

The enemy keeps people trapped in sickness by leading them to believe that healing is impossible or that only material solutions exist.

Addiction and Destructive Behaviors

Addictions (to substances, pornography, social media, etc.) serve as a powerful means of control.

These behaviors create spiritual strongholds, making it harder for individuals to break free from enemy influence.

Spiritual Blindness

One of the most effective strategies of the enemy is keeping people unaware of the spiritual battle they are in.

By convincing people that spiritual forces don’t exist or that faith is unnecessary, the enemy ensures they remain trapped.

Distraction and Busyness

In today’s fast-paced world, constant distractions keep people from self-reflection and spiritual growth.

Entertainment, workaholism, and even excessive reliance on modern medicine can pull people away from deeper healing.

Breaking Free from Spiritual Slavery

While the enemy’s battle plan is powerful, it is not unstoppable. Breaking free from spiritual enslavement starts with awareness and action. Here are the first steps toward freedom:

Recognizing the Battle

Acknowledge that unseen forces may be influencing your struggles.

Ask yourself: Are there patterns of negativity, sickness, or addiction that feel impossible to escape?

Seeking Truth

Read spiritual texts and seek wisdom from those who have overcome similar battles.

Be open to the idea that healing may require more than just physical solutions.

Breaking Agreements with Lies

Many people unconsciously accept lies about their identity and worth.

Start replacing these lies with spiritual truths that affirm your value and purpose.

Inviting Divine Help

Prayer and faith are essential tools for breaking free from spiritual bondage.

Connecting with God and seeking His guidance can provide strength and clarity.

Takeaway

The idea that we may be unknowingly enslaved by unseen forces is unsettling—but it is also empowering. Awareness is the first step toward freedom. By recognizing the battle plan of the enemy, we can take action to break free from the chains that hold us back.

Reflection

Are there areas in your life where you feel trapped—whether in negative thoughts, addictions, illness, or constant struggles? What steps can you take to begin breaking free from spiritual enslavement?
