Dr. McCormack, the Medical Director and founder of Athens Behavioral Medicine, is a renowned psychiatrist with board certifications in General Adult Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry.

Dr. McCormack is also the author of Hidden Medicine, a soon to be published book that presents a groundbreaking approach to mental health, integrating spiritual principles with traditional medical treatment. The book is divided into three main sections—Spiritual Realities, Spiritual Intel, and Spiritual Solutions—each offering a unique perspective on healing, holistic health, and the unseen forces that shape our lives.

Dr. McCormack’s specialties include treatment-resistant depression, ADHD, psychopharmacology, and spirituality in medicine. He is a strong advocate for integrating psychotherapy with medical treatments in psychiatric practice. Throughout his career, he has emphasized the importance of addressing the whole person, utilizing both traditional and innovative therapies to achieve lasting mental health outcomes. Currently, he holds a faculty position at the UGA School of Medicine, where he teaches and mentors the next generation of physicians.
